The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve as the fiscal sponsor of Los Altos First Friday, a volunteer-led community event that brings live music, art, and local culture to Downtown Los Altos on the first Friday of each month.
Entertainment
School of Rock
Our School of Rock house band, representing the best of our students, plays throughout the city at numerous street festivals, block parties, and charity events. Our students must audition to be selected for the exclusive show team, which performs a mix of great family-friendly rock songs from various eras and styles. Our set list includes songs from Michael Jackson, Joan Jett, The Beatles, The Eagles, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Elle King, Taylor Swift, and many more.
Enzo
Born in Costa Rica, Enzo made his musical debut at only five years old. Enzo has performed in 3 different languages at theaters, special events, and restaurants, and has recorded an album, “Mas que palabras”. Enzo also performs at his own concerts.
9 South
Friends since their high school days in Cupertino, 9 South plays acoustic renditions of (mostly) rock songs from the 60’s to the 2000’s. The band consists of Walter Saleme (vocals, guitar, ukulele, trumpet, etc) and Tom Johnson (guitar, vocals, ukulele, percussion).
House Band
House Band plays high energy dance music from the Stones, Beatles & Elton John, to Pink, Black Keys & Adele.
Tom Corn – guitar/lead vocals, Brendan DeLumpa – guitar/lead vocals, Bob Kaplan – drums, Barbara Nelson – keys/vocals, Rob Van Wandelen – bass/lead vocals.
Eurotrash
Eurotrash is a San Jose-based band playing Rock and Blues tunes from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, as well as a bit of Funk, Country, and whatever else grooves. They play concert venues, wineries, company events, and private parties.
Jazz Before Midnight
Jazz Before Midnight plays swing tunes from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, Brazilian Bossa’s, Cool Jazz tunes and our favorites from the Great American Songbook. We’ll have your toes tapping, your body swaying, and will put a smile on your face.
Sunday Seven
Sunday Seven was formed fifteen years ago with seven musicians on a Sunday afternoon. The band enjoys playing polkas, waltzes, oldies, and sing-alongs at venues in the South Bay Area.
The Wanderers
Every First Friday, make The Post your go-to spot for great food, tasty beverages, and live music with The Wanderers! Sonia, Russ, Jeff, and Daniel bring classic rock and pop favorites to the stage – from the ’60s through the 2000s with tight harmonies, and infectious grooves. As fiscal sponsor, the Chamber provides administrative and financial oversight, allowing the First Friday organizers to focus on creating memorable experiences that connect our community, support local businesses, and celebrate the unique character of Los Altos.
Donations to Los Altos First Friday are processed through the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, and go directly toward event operations, entertainment, and community programming.
