Chocolate Tasting at The Foster
Have you ever wanted to know more about chocolate and where it comes from? Join us for a special chocolate tasting at The Foster in Palo Alto.
Take a journey from bean-to-bar as we discuss how chocolate is made, from the cacao fruit to cacao nibs to the finished chocolate. Then we will smell and taste the differences between chocolates from different origins as part of a side-by-side tasting of 5 bars.
A short complimentary tour of The Foster and wilderness watercolor paintings by British artist-explorer Tony Foster will be provided after the tasting for those who are interested.
The class will be led by Corinne DeBra who has sampled and written about a different chocolate each day for 12+ years on her chocolate blog.
This class is appropriate for ages 16 and up.
