2020 Empty Bowls Soup Supper
POSTPONED
IMPORTANT UPDATE: CSA is postponing Empty Bowls scheduled for this Sunday, March 8. The County Health Department has recommended that older adults avoid large events where they might be exposed to the Coronavirus. Over 65% of our Empty Bowl event attendees and volunteers are in this age bracket, and we feel it is imperative to do what we can to protect our community’s health and well-being.
We are working with Mountain View Central Seventh-day Adventist Church to find a suitable date in May or June when flu season is over and this new strain is hopefully contained. We hope to get a new date within the next week or two. If you are a ticket-holder, we encourage you to hold onto your current tickets which we will honor at the rescheduled date. However, if you are a ticket-holder and would prefer to get a refund now, please contact Twana Karney, at tkarney@csacares.org by March 15, 2020.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
